1. Agreement to these terms

By accessing or using Leeboo.ai (“Leeboo”, “we”, “us” or the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use Leeboo on behalf of another person or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for them.

2. Eligibility and student use

You must be legally able to enter into an agreement or use the Service with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian where required. Users under 18 should use Leeboo with a parent or legal guardian’s knowledge and permission. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising a child’s use as required by law.

3. Your account

Provide accurate registration information, keep it up to date and protect your sign-in credentials. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account, except where unauthorised activity results from our failure to meet obligations imposed by applicable law. Notify us promptly if you suspect your account has been compromised. Do not share, sell or transfer your account unless we expressly allow it.

4. Educational purpose and AI limitations

Leeboo is designed to support learning through textbooks, explanations, summaries, examples, practice and AI-assisted study tools. The Service is an educational aid, not a substitute for teachers, official syllabi, original textbooks, professional advice or independent verification.

AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or unsuitable for your specific needs. Always check important answers, calculations, citations, exam requirements and generated study materials against reliable sources. We do not guarantee grades, examination results, admissions, employment outcomes or that every answer will be error-free.

5. Your content and permissions

You retain rights that you hold in the content you upload or submit. You confirm that you own the content or have the permissions necessary to use it with Leeboo. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, store, reproduce and process that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure and provide the features you request, comply with law and enforce these terms.

Do not upload copyrighted books, documents, personal data or other material unless you have the right to do so. Do not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, abusive, malicious or that violates another person’s privacy.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to break the law, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, harass or harm others, distribute malware, interfere with platform operation, attempt unauthorised access, bypass security or usage limits, scrape or extract data at scale without permission, or disrupt another user’s experience. You must not misrepresent AI-generated material as verified or official content where doing so could mislead others.

7. Intellectual property

The Leeboo name, branding, software, interface, design and materials supplied by Leeboo are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable laws. These terms give you a limited, personal, non-transferable and revocable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of Leeboo intellectual property to you.

8. Plans, payments and cancellations

If paid plans or purchases are offered, the applicable price, billing period, included features, renewal terms and cancellation or refund conditions will be shown at the point of purchase or in the relevant plan terms. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers and are subject to their terms. You are responsible for reviewing the displayed purchase details before confirming a transaction. Nothing in these terms limits any refund or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Leeboo useful and available, but uninterrupted access is not guaranteed. Features may be changed, maintained, suspended or discontinued for operational, security, legal or product reasons. We may update these terms and will publish the current version on this page. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate suspected misuse, address security issues, comply with law or enforce these terms. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. You may stop using the Service and request account closure by contacting us.

11. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an “as available” basis and we do not warrant that it will always be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, warranties or consumer rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, Leeboo is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on unverified AI-generated educational content or temporary service interruptions.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to mandatory consumer protection and other applicable legal rights. Courts with competent jurisdiction in India will hear disputes, without limiting any non-waivable right you may have to bring a complaint before an appropriate consumer or regulatory authority.
